FRCCE CCAP

A one stop process is now a reality for families entering the Child Care Assistance Program, CCAP, in Jefferson County. Eligible families can now apply for CCAP and at the same time receive comprehensive referrals for their child care. Jefferson County Social Services has entered into a contractual agreement with Family Resources and Child Care Education to conduct the intake services for CCAP. The CCAP program provides subsidies to assist working adults in paying for their child care if their household income is below 185 % of poverty. This figure translates to approximately $2,400 a month for a family of four.
Parents may now call 303-914-6271 to be screened for eligibility for the program. Family Resources and Child Care Education is conducting multiple orientations sessions each week in locations throughout the county to assist families wishing to apply for the program. Providers wishing to update their openings to enroll children from CCAP may contact the community child care referral line at Family Resources and Child Care Education, 303-969-9500.
