Family child care is the caring business of supporting families, quickly becoming one of the most important professions in our society's framework. If you have children, family child care enables you to earn an income while being at home with your own children. Therefore, because you are working in your own home, you become your own boss. In Colorado, day care homes are required to be licensed to insure that the home meets minimum health and safety standards. Twelve hours of pre-licensing training are required by the State.
