Course Description:
The toddler team at the Children’s Center @ Red Rocks share their experiences & thoughts about using the Primary Caregiver model for group care. Patti Jensen, who has cared for toddlers in a number of centers, and Kris Robledo, previously a Family Child Care provider, began using Primary Caregiving October 1, 1998 in the center. Within a few weeks a major difference was seen in the children and their parents. The team will share a video of them, how to get started, identify some of the responsibilities of the caregiver and forms they are using with parents.
