Course Description:
Holly and Jeannie do not have transportation available for their Head Start Class. They build their curriculum around what their children see in the school neighborhood and their homes. Holly and Jeannie take kids out on walks to visit the fire station, local dentist, grocery store and other sites. They also broaden their program through bringing the library and entertainers to the center. But the experience is not enough. Holly and Jeannie share how they plan with children before they go and how their visits commonly become a project or focus of activities for many days.
