Course Description:
Caring for infants and toddlers with disabilities: a six hour session designed to help family child care and center based providers define and gain understanding of various types and degrees of disabilities, enhance familiarity with ADA, address fears and myths around caring for infants and toddlers with disabilities, and the importance of the team approach. Mentor support is available for participants who enroll an infant or toddler with special needs. The Infant Toddler Training, “Grand Beginnings” is available at half price to participants completing this session. Funds for equipment and training are available for enhancement of care for infants and toddler with disabilities.
